Studio1203, LLC was founded in 2004 and then consolidated in 2019 by Bryan and Doran Edwards. It is a film and television production company with offices in Los Angeles, California and Nashville, Tennessee. Studio1203 has over 20 years’ experience in feature-length films, episodic TV shows, documentaries, music videos, corporate videos and more. MEET THE TEAM
Bryan Edwards is a native of Nashville, Tennessee, now living in Los Angeles, California. He is a classically trained artist and received his BFA in illustration, with a Minor in Photography, from the prestigious institution, Ringling College of Art and Design. Bryan began his career as a graphic designer for a marketing company. He then co-founded Zoe Creative, which was Nashville’s first full-service HD facility. After four years of directing and producing country music videos as well as editing two popular TV shows, Bryan spent seven years traveling both domestically and internationally as a Producer, Cinematographer, and Editor for Spike TV’s top-rated prime time television show, TNA iMPACT! Wrestling, which aired two hours every Thursday, 52 weeks a year. The show aired in over 100 countries and in multiple languages across the globe. At the same time, Bryan headed the home video department of the production company, overseeing millions of dollars in DVD sales. In 2015, Bryan moved to Los Angeles to work in the feature film industry. He has worked on four feature-length films as both an Assistant Director and as Lead Editor, including the award-winning Soul Custody, released in 2021, and as the Director and Editor of the grassroots racing documentary, Bandoleros & Chihuahuas, completed in 2020. Doran Edwards is the Chief Executive Officer of Studio1203. He is a native of Nashville, Tennessee where he was a board-certified surgeon for more than twenty years. After retiring from private practice, Doran spent another twenty plus years as a Medical Director, overseeing tactical and strategic operations involving billions of dollars in government funding in the Medicare program. As an independent consultant to the medical industry, Doran has worked with multi-national companies, traveling extensively both nationally and internationally to oversee projects. He is skilled in team building, project oversight, budgeting and quality management. At an early age, Doran demonstrated a talent for professional, quality writing, something he has honed and refined over the years through his stories, plays, treatises and scholarly studies written for friends and family. Doran also enrolled in a year-long class taught by a Hollywood-based professional, which has resulted in four feature-length screen plays, two of which are registered with the Screen Writers Guild of America, one feature-length children’s animated movie and is currently working on two episodic television programs.
Geoffrey Sanderson is the Chief Financial Officer of Studio1203. Originally from Michigan, but now living in Nashville, Tennessee, Geoffrey earned an accounting and finance degree from Michigan State University and an information technology degree from University of Phoenix. He was a performance musician at a young age and upon early retirement from the corporate world, he has translated his extensive finance background and music proficiency into the film and television industry.
